Individual Therapy

I provide virtual therapy across California and in-person therapy in Los Angeles to adults . Through our work in individual therapy, many of my clients share that they can:

  • Care for themselves while caring for others

  • Work through grief and loss at their own pace — especially in relation to pet loss, family estrangement, death, oppression, and life transitions

  • Experience life with more clarity, confidence, and creativity

  • Feel more connected to themselves and in their relationships

  • Let go of the narrative that they’re not good enough and that they’re behind in life

  • Feel less guilty from surviving a traumatic event that others did not such as suicide, cancer, an accident, natural disaster, or mass shooting

  • Find a sense of hope and purpose even when overwhelmed by political stress and climate anxiety

  • Identify how to make sense of and prepare for the anticipated death of a loved one due to terminal illness

IFS Support Groups in Los Angeles

Support Groups

I offer support groups virtually in California and in-person in Los Angeles. My clients often seek support groups so that feel less alone as they:

  • Navigate the loss of a partner/spouse, parent, friend, sibling, or pet

  • Address feeling alone, isolated, and stuck

  • Learn how to build healthy relationships — romantic, platonic, and familial

  • Explore how societal and cultural norms around masculinity impacts relationships dynamics

  • Engage in mindfulness skills for anxiety, change, and life transitions

Support groups usually run for 6 to 10 weeks and have a group size anywhere from 6 to 8 participants.

*Next round of groups will begin in April 2025

My Approach to Therapy

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

An experiential model that engages you in activities to heal trauma, change behaviors, and process difficult emotions in real time.

Through IFS Therapy I help you feel less overwhelmed, more connected to yourself, and more compassionate towards yourself and others.

Somatic Therapy

An approach for understanding how your body expresses and internalizes painful experiences and emotions.

I help you practice somatic exercises to help you be in relationship with your body and nervous system, such that you can navigate states of activation, shutdown, and fight/flight.

Expressive Arts Therapy

A form of therapy that provides you a space to externalize your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and experiences through creative outlets.

I integrate activities that lean on clay, music, writing, and poetry to help you process what feels difficult or confusing to name out loud.
